Bill: Freedom of Religious Conscience Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Linkspartei
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3250
Description[?]:
We feel that it is our duty, as a secular society, to allow people to choose their own religious convictions or lack thereof. The state should not promote or stigmatize any religious conviction through its legislation as long as church and state are still completely severed from one another. We feel that the current legislation is too radical and anti-intellectual in this respect. People should be free to reason with one another in order to enlighten themselves and reflect upon their beliefs. |
