Bill: Food Labelling Reforms
Details
Submitted by[?]: Solentian Socialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2149
Description[?]:
This would mean companies would have to "clearly label food and beverage products, in a manner that can be easily understood" and that both "ingredients and corresponding nutritional information must be listed" on food packaging. 1. What is the point of labelling as we have now, if it cannot be "easily understood"? 2. Increased consumer awareness regarding nutrition will lead to higher quality produce. |

Message | Then the SSP intends to propose a formal vote. However, we'll leave it a while longer - the vote would be caught by the impending elections and reset, which would send it back to the House. |
