Message | To create a repressive, authoritarian state where people are persecuted for what they believe, I think you mean. This is a bloc that fears being exposed for what it is. It fears that real competition will expose the fact that the state bureaucracies are bloated, inefficient entities staffed by a bunch of underachievers who couldn't make it in the real world. Their solution: ban the innovators. It fears differences of opinion and the spread of new ideas in the cultural, social and political spheres. Their solution: eradicate the free media. It fears the ability of citizens to form their own views, their own belief systems and shape their own destinies in life. Their solution: persecute people of faith. It fears that workers might be able to advocate their own interests, and fears that power might be taken away from corrupt union bullies who blackmail their own staff to get their own way. Their solution: strip away the democratic rights of workers. Only four words are needed to describe the inevitable state of Dundorf's government should these revolting "reforms" pass: Financially insolvent, morally bankrupt. (25-minute standing ovation from the opposition benches.) - Laura Seidel, Vorsitzende der Konservativen Partei. |

Message | We do not agree with articles 4,5,7,9, 12 and 13, and therefore do not support this act. If they were to be removed, we would vote in favor of the altered version of this 'Socialist Reality Act'. Gerhard Quintens Fraktionsvorsitzender der Linkspartei |
