Message | There is no need to change the already established laws. Anger can be expressed in many ways, and trampling over the symbolism of our nation's flag should not be one of them. Why? Because there exists those citizens that admire, honor, and wish to maintain our most basic national symbol at the highest and most sacred position any symbol can have. This bill may award some small and unimportant right to a certain group but it tramples over the right of another group. Anger against the nation is not limited to the desecration of any national symbol, there are many ways this can be expressed. |

Message | The TRP is also happy with the current law |
Date | 19:17:58, March 01, 2012 CET | From | Front Rawlsienne | To | Debating the National Flag Act |
Message | This does not trample over the rights of a large group, it may anger them but they do not have a right to have their flag protected and others prosecuted for, say, ripping one up. |
