Message | Mr. Speaker, The CPU provides a falacious argument here, it states that some GM techniques are proven to be good/ok BUT they propose that ALL activities related to production, selling or researching GM crops should be allowed. We say, nay. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We feel that Telamon has had the current law, which allows research into GM crops, for many generations and decades. It is about time we come to an answer over whether or not we can actually eat these crops. We request a response from the new Minister of Food and Agriculture or the Minister of Science & Tech, as soon as he or she is elected from the current Cabinet proposition. With their response, we will finally be able to deem whether GM crops are an acceptable food source and production source for our citizens. |

John Macdonald (Minister of Food & Agriculture) |
