Message | "The Unionist Party reminds our colleagues in the Moral Party that as it stands, even without the call to fill the new set of members of the House to match the constitution where there is currently a discrepency, there are still 10 seats in this House completely unfilled. Those 10 seats represent hundreds of thousands of everyday Solentians who presently have no voice in this House at all as their representatives have abandoned them. 65 seats are filled, 75 seats exist. Those 10 need filling and the members of this House ought to respect their need for representation. Furthermore, there is a strong case for hosting an election to bring this House and the working of Government in line with the actual constitution of our country. We urge our colleagues in the Moral Party and in the Crown Party, to back the bill." Alexander York, Unionist Executive Vice-President (Legislative Lead) |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
