Submitted by[?]: Dorvische Partei
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3282
Description[?]:
In order to demonstrate to the other parties that we are not some outrageous socialist party, that we can be sensible, and no doubt this will hurt our support base, we propose the following change to striking rights. Although yes, this imposes a limitation, it should ensure that, for example, a minimal service is provided by teachers, or nurses, or train drivers, in order to ensure that the rest of society is not completely screwed over. |

Message | This limits the basics of the workers in our nation. It is their liberty to strike whenever they please if they are being abused by the system. The government should not meddle with the economy like this. Finance Speaker for the Dorvische Republikaner Carla Schneider |

Message | Wait, what? The DR are AGAINST limiting workers rights? Since when? Can the DR not see the potential problem if ALL nurses, or policemen, or firemen went on strike? |

Message | The DR is a right-wing libertarian party, and in all proposals we have ever put forward we fight for the liberty of the people. Everyone has to be able to do what they want to do. If those people deem it right to go on strike in their vital position then the government must surely have done something insane to enrage these people and that is simply a consequence we have to live with, that is true liberty. Party President of the Dorvische Republikaner Gustav Horch |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
