Bill: Education Reform Act
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3285
Description[?]:
Tuition subsidization is effectively another facade of corruption. By subsidizing a particular purchase, educational facilities increase prices without fear of losing students (or customers depending on one's point of view). This abhorrent practice creates a transfer of wealth from the tax payer to the education cartel. We must allow the invisible hand of the free market to regulate prices. This begins by ending subsidization. |

Article 1

Current: The government subsidizes higher education tuition to a certain amount, the rest is covered by the individual students. This includes scholarship programs.
