Message | A diplomat, how important he may be, is still a human. And in the society of today, there are the same rights and duties for every human. So why there should not be the same laws for diplomats? |

Message | KV is in agreement with DP on this issue, if somebody commits a crime in Dorvik, they deserve full punishment regardless of their citizenship or political status. |

Message | Herr Speaker, You are condemning Dorvik to diplomatic death, it is obvious you are trying to destroy this country. |

Message | OOC: Also if this passes, we would likely not be allowed into many diplomatic treaties, thus leaving us out of a large portion of the RP. |

Message | We are trying to protect this country from foreign scum. The current laws protects murderers and other vile people, if repealing it condemns us to diplomatic death, then we will be better for it. Only law abiding foreigners should be allowed to work at foreign embassies. ooc: There are plenty of diplomatic treaties that do not require us to limit our own domestic policy settings. The DP is an isolationist party, it is entirely logical, and fits in with our RP, that we would not protect Majatran peadophiles or Seleyen murderers. Or indeed anyone from Kirlawa. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
