ToDebating the Reduction of Regulation of Fireworks Act
MessageWe believe that the right for some one to be stupid is overidden by the right for others' safety. The main problem is that the cost of one person's actions may have to be paid by many or the community at large. However, seeing as the community that would be paying the price will be creating the law, we support this article.

MessageThen under the current support for this bill, we will bring the issue to vote and hope that at least one of the other parties believes it to be fair and just.

MessageAfter careful consideration, we have decided that the public safety considerations outweigh the desire for personal choice in this matter. Local control also raises problems with people crossing state lines to bring back fireworks and endanger those in their own state. We are therefore somewhat reluctantly voting against this measure.

MessageExcept that the current law already gives the choice to everyone to buy fireworks and injure others. The current proposal allows the local government to decide if they want to punish these people, if at all. We are providing more security to people, without necessitating a blanket ban.

MessageWe have changed our minds. If this law is passed, it may prevent us from dropping massive amounts of fireworks from the troposphere to create a massive fireworks show to celebrate Indrala's transition to Communism.
