Whereas: The government of Likatonia has systematically and deliberately chopped away the traditional freedoms enjoyed by the people of Likatonia and, These freedoms are what has made our nation the great leader in ecomonic growth and personal happiness it was; Therefore: We introduce the following proposals to continue to restore freedom, liberty, and dignity to the peoples of Likatonia and to allow our nation to regain its place in the world as a freedom loving country: |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy concerning the visitation of foreign missionaries.
Old value:: Foreign missionaries are not permitted to enter the nation.
Current: The government determines which missionaries are permitted to visit on a person by person basis.
Proposed: The government has no policy concerning the visitation of foreign missionaries.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards evangelism and religious advertising.
Old value:: Religions are not permitted to promote themselves or advertise in any manner whatsoever.
Current: Religions are required to obtain government approval before promoting themselves or advertising in any manner.
Proposed: Religions are permitted to freely promote and advertise themselves.

Proposal[?] to change The state's policy concerning religious clothing.
Old value:: Wearing religious clothing or religious symbols in public is illegal.
Current: Wearing religious clothing or religious symbols in public is illegal.
