Bill: General Consumption Tax - 3292
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluz Democratic Karavist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3293
Description[?]:
To increase our ability to maintain welfare programmes, we have to put this tax back into place. It is an unfortunate position that we are caught in. The long rule of the Tory government, especially in their demand to be in control of the Finance ministry in other coalitions, has caused this problem. The Tories have mismanaged the economy for decades. To ensure that the tax isn't too much of a stress on low-income earners, we will ensure that those, who are likely to be in stressful positions, benefit from the welfare programmes that get the revenue. |
