MessageGenerally speaking, as the state does a better job at homogenizing moral and ethical socialization, and robust state support for schools is important for the growth of the society, we support this bill.

MessageSocialization is, after all, one of the primary purposes of school, and that cannot be accomplished if a kid if withdrawn by his or her parents so that they can inculcate their own superstitions and prejudices into the kid without giving the kid an opportunity to hear other, perhaps competing thoughts on the subject.
