Bill: Coburanisation of Government (Ancient Coburan Names) Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Tokundski Nacionalisti

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2160

Description[?]:

A Bill to use ancient Coburan names for Parliament and Head of Government. The Anglicisation of our nations names must be reversed, we should strive to use traditional names to encourage a sense of Coburan unity and to promote our own unique culture. (Yes the NUP is gradually becoming pro-Coburan, rather than just pro-Tokundian)

Parliament - changed to - Kurevná Rada - (Wise Council)

Chief Minister - changed to - Hulich Kokotov - (Chief Minister )

In the interest of preserving Coburan culture please support.

MessageThe reason I voted against this is because no matter what language it's in, the HoS title is still Chief Minister and I still think it's bland and ugly.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".

Random quote: "The decadent international but individualistic capitalism in the hands of which we found ourselves after the war is not a success. It is not intelligent. It is not beautiful. It is not just. It is not virtuous. And it doesn't deliver the goods." - John Maynard Keynes
