Message | Our military was consistently the lowest item on the budget, we had a very small standing volunteer army, we had no nuclear or chemical weapons, and no mandatory military service. And we did not get invaded.... "They havent invaded us because we have a strong army!" We were not invaded for hundreds of years... during which time we had a very low-funded military with a complete BAN on weapons of mass destruction, no mandatory service, and the military was completely separate from the civilian police force..... AND WE WERE NOT INVADED! We did not get invaded.... not because we had a strong army, but because WE LEFT EVERYONE ELSE THE HELL ALONE! |
