Message | LPP, how can you want such people in your cabinet? This is totally communist, and I mean communist, that is, the real meaning. Exactly like the USSR: - Government can and does seize private property - Government owns industry and businesses that are vital to economic progress. - Government owns housing and hands it out to people. Next they'll propose that the HoS should be called "Head of the Communist Party" and nationalize all industries. Excellent, from a barely acceptable centro-socialist party, you became a socio-communist party. Next thing you know, people like Sam Walton and Bill Gates will be executed and their property will be "shared among the people". If I were the main moderator of this game, I would demand that you be honest and rename your party to "Fully Communist and Soviet Party of Dolgaria Who Believes That The USSR Was The Best Country In The World". Anyway, this is absurd and has got to stop! I call for all sane people in our most noble Dolgaria to help stop this outrage! |

Message | You know what CPD ? What I proposed is, for example, an exact copy of the current French system where the State can seize properties for works such as highways (owner will get some funds for their lost ownings), The state compagny owns the Grid and maintain it in a very good shape, and some houses are owned by the State are rented to low-income people. And is France communist ? I don't think so. I'm not turning to communism in any matter. I'm just trying to implement legislations that will ensure State's power in critical areas of the economy and help the Poorest. There is no need in executing anyone or whatever you said. |

Message | Well, if you think that France is in such a wonderful state, you should certainly read the news more often. France's unemployment is soaring, housing policies are in a disastrous state, and the country will be on the brink of a civil/social war in another 10 years if major steps are not taken. |

Message | France has its problems, indeed. But these problems are common to most european states and media, at least anglo-saxon ones, exaggerated the impact of lastest riots. |

Message | Well, to be fair, all of this is also in the United States. Kinda. The US Grid is owned by the state, and each region has a state-run (but publically owned, as in it has stock shares which the public buys) electric company which has a monopoly on that region. That seems rather effective. Each state in the US has some sort of poverty housing scheme. No where near that of France's, usually the state secures low-income housing though a private citizen or company. A couple states do build apartments for low-income, like France. And, well, the United States invented the term "eminent domain." |
