Bill: National Power Grid (2149)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Front Canrillaise
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2151
Description[?]:
The power gird should be fully owned and maintained by the state for efficiency reasons. If we have several private companies maintaining it then you'll start to see inconsistencies and perhaps even technology and equipment that work against each other. The possible disadvantages of the current law include mass blackouts (as a result of lack of communication)), low and inefficient service, and regional inequality (some regions may receive a better service from a much more bigger company than a region who has a smaller company maintaining its grid). |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy on the nation's power grid.
Old value:: Multiple private companies each own and maintain sections of the national power grid.
Current: The national grid is fully owned by the state.
Proposed: The national grid is fully owned by the state.
