MessageThere is no return to tradition, when Hobrazia has always been founded upon the principles of democracy and liberty and you suggest the exact opposite.

MessageWe have at no point suggested the abolition of our democracy. We do, however, want an end to all destructive foreign influences, and will work to implement a culturally pure Hobrazian nation.

MessageCulturally pure is, and will always be, an euphemism for social tyranny, where freedom to live, dress and behave as one wants, and which does no harm to others, is suspended. We support a strong state, which has no problem in allowing it's citizens to live as they think best.

MessageFreedom to live, dress and behave as one wants is, on the other hand, an euphemism for multiculturalism and denationalization. Hobrazia will cease to exist as a nation if all sorts of un-Hobrazian behaviours are tolerated.

MessageWhy should we oppress though? If it is truly the wish of the people to live in a Hobrazian way of life, they will choose to do so, if not, what is the point of forcing a way of life upon someone that does not want to live that way?

MessageThen they are free to leave the nation. Hobrazia is for Hobrazians, anyone that wishes to adopt another way of life can do that someplace else.

MessageWhat is Hobrazian is defined by the currently living Hobrazians. It is their will, and their will alone, that should influence it. The state have no business prying into what goes on in the personal life of the Hobrazian people, nor should conformity be forced unto those who do not wish it.

It is clear that you care nothing for the well-being of the Hobrazians you are set to lead; instead you care more about turning the entire nation into a theocratic horror of oppression, fear and hate. We are, quite frankly, appalled.

MessageWhy should someone have to leave the country they were born and raised in, where their family and friends live, where they work and are a productive member of society just because they do not dress like you?

ToDebating the Cabinet Proposal of June 3310
MessageIf the Hobrazian nation is defined strictly by those who happen to currently live in Hobrazia or hold a Hobrazian passport, then what sets us apart from any other nation? On the contrary, a nation is defined by language, customs, religion, and values, which one cannot just change whenever they feel like it. Abandoning any of the core characteristics of your nation is the same as abandoning your nation. One cannot be a productive member of a society if one rejects its very values.

MessageYet why should they be forced upon someone?

MessageOptional values are no values at all. Those that follow different values or have none whatsoever are a threat to the existence of our nation.

MessageNo, they are not a threat. No nation ever ceased to exist because people were too free. However numerous revolts, revolutions and civil wars have been fought over repressive regimes.
