| This country is a mixed economy, not a socialist state. The state simply does not tax enough to operate all these industries completely, so better to open them up a little so that the private/voluntary sector can fill the gap. |

| Message | Rt Hon Duke Heaton MP, Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, we are surprised by this new change in direction from the government. I wonder why however...the FHP is following the Socialist party in voting yes. Last time i checked they were in favour of the status quo but i guess any change in Socialist Party policy is also a change in FHP policy. Mr Speaker, however...im not complaining. It again just proves what we all know about the FHP. Oh, i wonder what it feels like not to be able to think for yourself and just following Socialist Party orders?
