Message | What a joke that you claim your party stands for "civil rights" when you want to lock up people for thoughtcrimes. I'm amazed you can speak coherently, Herr Breitner, given that you're filled to the brim with hypocrisy. (Riotous laughter from the conservative benches.) - Sophia Rietzschel, Bundeskanzlerin (KP). |

Message | Frau Rietzschel, proposing bills like this are a joke: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=348391 . However, no one is laughing. Laurenz Brandt Minister of Justice |

Message | Herr Brandt, we are able to summon arguments for and against the legislation that comes before this house. We argued substantively in favour of our bill on the death penalty. You, on the other hand, simply state that opposing the death penalty is your "view" without ever justifying it. You call our policy a "joke" without so much as bringing a single counter-argument. This is a pattern for the SED: propose legislation and don't bother to engage in any type of debate. Your colleague, the finance minister, is the prime example of this. He has suddenly gone missing from the debate over that ridiculous tax plan of his, presumably because he is embarrassed at having proposed a bill that steals from the poor and therefore does the exact opposite of what he intended it to do. - Sophia Rietzschel, Bundeskanzlerin (KP). |

Message | [OOC: Sorry, I copy-pasted the "Sophia Rietzschel, Bundeskanzlerin" bit from above without thinking. That should obviously be "Sophia Rietzschel, Vorsitzende der Konservativen Partei" now.] |
