With the reduction of consumer sales taxation to more reasonable levels the Department of Finance hopes to stimulate consumer expenditure within the economy. Though it is excepted that there will be a short-term reduction in overall Government income, this should be met by increased economic growth in the medium - long term.

Messagethe HPP agree that taxation on vital goods should be lowered, but to a mere nonexisting level. We should slowly decrease the taxation by 5 % every 6th month until we reach a level of 25 %!

Message@HPP - We couldn't lower the taxation level every 6th month even if we wanted to as it takes 9 months to pass a bill.
