Message | there is a difference between fighting our enemies, and fighting the people our enemies rule. nuking civilians is a much different action than bombing a weapons factory, and only the latter actually contributes to the war. the former is just pointless slaughter, and i refuse to believe that this fine nation will sink that low. |

Message | Well with constant problems with the Deltarian facists and their extremely powerful military we may need these. |

Message | and do what? nuke their population into oblivion and hope that the lunatics give up? you can't use the threat of nukes on a nation that is willing to nuke itself. nukes serve no purpose in offense: you can't nuke an army out of the way and march through that land, our army gets cancer. nukes serve no purpose in defense: are you really going to drop the bomb on Oderveld to stop an invasion? nukes only have any purpose in scare tactics: threaten their populace with total obliteration and the government will steer clear. except when dealing with homocidal dictatorships: they don't care about their people. hell, they'd probobally thank us for ridding them of their people. plus, what do you think they are going to do when we nuke their city? they have nukes, too! in every way, shape, and form, nuclear weaponry is a waste of our nation's time and money. |

Message | "plus, what do you think they are going to do when we nuke their city? they have nukes, too!" If we ever went to war with them anyway they would most likely be the first to use nukes. But maybe ending limitations on our military will make them think twice before attacking. I mean who is going to want their capital liquified along with half of their military bases? |

Message | think twice? you really think threatening to nuke their people will matter to them? they drop nukes on their own people, for crying out loud |
