Bill: Community Communist Manifesto of 3318: Community Government

Details

Submitted by[?]: Iqembu Sokusebenzisana Yeningi

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3318

Description[?]:

Bureaucrats from a distant capital are not representative of the people. The economy should be managed at the local level, democratically, with the national government's support and coordination. The true worker's revolution will only be complete when eaach community has the absolute sovereignty to provide for its citizens as it will. The short-sighted ask, "What if the communities return to capitalism?" This assumes that the positive virtues of socialism will not be clearly evident to each worker's council; it is a defeatist stance. Instead, the CCC commits to engage the people throughout the nation, and mobilize them to exercise their natural democratic sovereignty on a community level. We will remain engaged until the true revolution has come to pass.

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play.
