MessageThe GreenLeft is baffled: why the insistence on isolationism from a social democratic party?

MessageThe PSD has always been clear: the PSD is a pragmatic party not beholden and tied down to ideology. This proposal offers protection of the French character of the people of Rildanor, from foreigners that undermine the language and values of Rildanoriens. The people have continuously indicated this is their preference. What the PSD finds truly baffling is how the ideologically motivated GreenLeft can claim to be an advocate of the labour movement and green socialism, but at the same time assault and gut all protections for workers?

MessageBecause the labour movement is an ideological movement, and green socialism is an ideology, just as how isolationism and cultural elitism are ideologies.

The PSD's argument as above might be enough to justify not allowing foreigners to reside permanently in Rildanor, but it does not justify imposing draconian restrictions on temporary visitors such as tourists, businesspeople and possible investors, as well as foreign diplomats.
The labour movement aims for the independence of the labour force from the state and the bourgeoisie. Not for the supremacy of the French identity. The labour movement is international and cosmopolitan. Not nation-specific and isolationist.
