Message | Good to see you fighting up for this Centrists! Indeed, often the advocates of the state are fearful of religions. After all, they would not want another influence on children beyond that of the state. Rather than this we ought to allow people to freely choose how to lead their lives. Why is "religious influence" any worse than state influence on children? Surely propaganda from the state is at least as bad? |
Date | 11:20:41, June 23, 2012 CET | From | Republican Socialist Front | To | Debating the RSF Program II: Secularism |
Message | Religious influence worse because religion based on unquestioned dogmas, while democratic state embody will of Kundrati society, and state-owned schools promote scientific view of the world. State should ensure that education meets the standards supported by most of our society. Children aren't capable to fully independently choose how to lead their lives. |
