Message | No. The death penalty shouldn't even be an option anywhere in Beluzia at this time or in the near future (unless circumstances change drastically for the worse). Of course, no parish controlled by the Williams' Family will ever employ the death penalty when so many other humane methods of punishment (and removing an individual from society) are available. It should be interesting to see what His Excellency has to say about this though... |
Date | 14:49:34, June 25, 2012 CET | From | Beluz Democratic Karavist Party | To | Debating the Death Penalty |
Message | Members of the Karav Dynasty are opposed to the implementation of the death penalty, except in cases where not doing so would cause the loss of other lives. Acts of terrorism aren't exceptions, even when they already have been committed. This is because other terrorists may be influenced by the success and getaway of an act of terrorism and jump to do the same. In a simple case of murder, the death penalty shouldn't be applied once it is guaranteed that the person won't attempt to murder anyone else, or once we know we can keep him/her off the streets. -- This proposal, however, would fit wartime. |

Message | Not at my statement is no different from yours saying that members of the Karav Dynasty are opposed. I thought it was assumed that I represent my constituents. |
