Message | It is important that this treaty is not introduced as a defence organisation. No provisions are made for defence and we are not obliged to involve ourselves in foreign wars. This is a sensible treaty designed to secure the seas, and as such, we support it. |

Message | Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, indeed SOTO is a treaty excluding any Defense issue. It was created as a non-agression between the members. In this way SOTO members can't attack each other without to leave this treaty. It shall help to establish better relations between the members and to save the sea lanes for our merchant vessels. This treaty is not a Defense one. The political map in South West is a bit to complex though there was never any agression between SOTO members. If you are looking for a Defense treaty you may contact the Imperial Party of Selucia (IPS), the SSP or UILP. Since decades the Selucian Empire has strong relations with Hobrazia, also different trade treaties and military treaties. If you study SW history you will find more or less a couple of crisis between Deltaria, supported by Corduba with the other nations in this region. Of course you are free to choose what fits best for your nation, but the Selucian Empire would be glad to establish better relations with your honourful nation. Best regards Alexander de Cloe of Assedo HoG Imperial Party of Selucia |
