Bill: Competition for Workers Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Populist Liberal Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2151

Description[?]:

If unions were legal, we would not be proposing this.

However, since they currently are not, we hereby propose that we encourage some companies tp be run by Democratic Workers Councils, who would compete for labor with traditional companies and thus push those companies to improve their treatment of workers to retain them.

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).

Random quote: "The whole uncivilized bunch on the opposite benches can get stuffed." - Craig Warwick, former Dranian politician
