| From Human Rights Carta: Article 16: (1) Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution. (2) Marriage shall be entered into only with the free and full consent of the intending spouses. (3) The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State. This does not specify otherwise. The KLP must support the amendment otherwise they go against the recently passed Human Rights Carta. |

| Message | Princeps Senatus: As it is written down in the constiution also: "All these rights are protected and part of the constitution and found their restricton in the passed laws, however the passed laws should not change the character of the Carta." If we would pass the proposed law, we would violate against subarticle 3 , because the government doesn't recognize homosexual relations as families. Of course, the SLP is free to appeal to the Selucian high court/ head of state for a constitutional ruling. |
