Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 01:26:53, August 04, 2012 CET | From | Grand National Party | To | Debating the Economy Bill |
Message | We support article 2 and 3, but this is outweighed by our opposition to the others. Article 1 is unnecessary if we aim to reduce regulations on business instead. Article 4 is authoritarian and un-capitalistic, as the market should determine which ways of running a business should succeed, not government. Regarding article 4, the current regulation is sufficient. Elizabeth de Burgh GNP Parliamentary Group Leader |
Date | 12:15:13, August 04, 2012 CET | From | Unity | To | Debating the Economy Bill |
Message | Unity opposes all of these proposals, especcially articles 1 and 4. Raising the retirement age is unneccessary as our fiscal position is strong and only serves to transfer wealth from workers to business owners. - Maria Walden Minister of Finance Unity will not stand for atempts to cut down the elementary right of all to go on strike if conditions force it. Working people should not have to fear the business management. - Constantine Miller Minister of Trade & Industry |
