Description[?]:
The New Liberal Alliance, observing that there is a need for a free, public education system, presents this Education Bill for Equal Opportunity before the Senate continuing in the proud and long tradition of moderate economics and interest in the people at heart. The current system of education can threaten to destroy our capitalist system and revert it to an old feudalist system because of the fact that private schools will all have widely differing curriculums and areas of study. Those who might have the skill to succeed and bring about new advancements to the world and to the field of business as well might not receive the adequate education in order to let their skills shine. As a result, we will have a very differing work force as many will not receive proper education. We need to provide the equal opportunity for all people to succeed and keep the economy going. All the nations of the free world currently do have a public education system and the only nations where this system is employed are Third World nations. |
