Bill: Constitutional Revision Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Darnussia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3355
Description[?]:
With the recent liberalisation of laws regarding political parties in the IC, numerous small opposition groups have united to form the Democratic Alliance, a political union dedicated to greater freedoms for the common man. We support wholeheartedly the continuation of a union between Narikaton and Darnussia under the House of Raux. We are however dedicated to keeping the monarchy constitutional, and to keep the aristocracy out of politics. Darnussian nationalism and Narikatonite nationalism, whether far-left or right, is dangerous, and we understand this, and support the continuation of the monarchist union. But we do feel that currently, 'subjects' of the IC lack several democratic freedoms and human rights, and that the IC cannot continue as a modern and peaceful nation without seriously looking at the current state of affairs and making revisions in our current constitution. Mr Wilhelm Kraus Chairman of the Democratic Alliance |

Message | Members of the House, We feel these perhaps are several loose ends from those dark days that have passed of when the Republic and the Empire were locked together in warfare. With the end of the authoritarian states, we believe that democracy must triumph in order to preserve the peace. We must keep the IC a genuine constitutional monarchy, not just in name only. Mr Wilhelm Kraus Chairman of the Democratic Alliance |
Date | 16:14:50, August 26, 2012 CET | From | Loyalistische Partei | To | Debating the Constitutional Revision Act |
Message | Members of the Rijksdag/Reichstag, Imperial Government can not agree with article 2 of this proposal. ID-cards are essential to the seucirty of the Commonwealth and its people. We are willing to support ending the primeval racial segregation and citizenship laws in other proposals as they serve no purpose in modern Commonwealth. Laurent Af Klempt, Chancellor of the Rijksdag/Reichstag |
