Bill: Private Property Protection Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Green & Liberal Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3364

Description[?]:

The government cannot seize private property for when it sees fit. The government cannot simply uproot families or businesses for something that the people who are being affected may not necessarily support. If the government wants to gain land then it must purchase it from the consenting seller. This bill will stop the State from potentially overstepping its powers.

MessageWe cannot support that. A change of this bill would also protect the property of the rich. It also doesn't make sense with the nationalization of the economy.
