Bill: Capital Crimes Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Liberal Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2152

Description[?]:

Seeing as predictably the death penalty was reinstated and recognising the differing views of parties, we propose a compromise. The death penalty will not be abolished altogether but restricted to only terrorism, treason and crimes against mankind (the definition of this could be relatively broad if necessary).

Messagewell, really brutal murderers could still be executed if you had a very very broad definition of the term 'crimes against mankind.' !

Random quote: "Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." - Winston Churchill
