Message | No. The monarchy is an important institution in the country and provides a stable figurehead. Besides, the High Representative is elected anyway. Her Majesty The Queen has no power, but is a representative of the Dolgavan people, therefore the Liberal Democratic Party will fiercely oppose this bill. |

Message | You oppose the people because you brainwashed them you lied to them. You formed a Restoration Government so you could please and control the masses now look at you. |
Date | 23:36:37, September 15, 2012 CET | From | The Dolgavan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Abolishment of the Monarchy |
Message | We the DCP strongly disagree with this bill the monarchy is something that makes Dolgava the country what it is - although the queen has no power, she represents this country, what your basically doing is removing a title and then making a new one, we do not agree with this. |
Date | 01:03:02, September 16, 2012 CET | From | Progressive Green Party | To | Debating the Abolishment of the Monarchy |
Message | We would support a transition to republicanism. The monarchy may have no political power, but the funding and pomp and circumstance that is devoted to it would be better spent on bettering society. If the monarchy became an institution primarily of service to the community, we might change our minds, but we see little evidence of this. Though, maybe we can find a better name than the proposed one? How about Vadītājs, the old name? It means "manager" in Latvian. |

Message | I agree Vadītājs would be more suitable going back to old traditions. |
Date | 18:10:57, September 16, 2012 CET | From | The Dolgavan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Abolishment of the Monarchy |
Message | Like we said - your just renaming it, not changing any thing else - please explain it more, you want to get rid of the current title, to make a new one - ocne again we will oppose this. |
