Message | As you can see, this would decrease the government's income taxes revenue by 3,000,000,000 RUT, which would leave us with a surplus of 1.6 billion RUT rather than 4.6 billion RUT. You will also notice that I proposed a small change to the taxation system, low and medium incomes will be taxed less while the large incomes will be taxed more. We believe this will cause the tax pressure for the common Rutanian to drop. This bill is only one part of a new financial plan, the other will be a slight redistribution of the government's budget, a redistribution which will also mean that the government's expenses decrease. |

Message | For future reference, we do like discussion on tax bills. This is far from an ideal proposal. |

Message | Probably because the rich would be taxed slighly more despite the fact that the overall tax pressure would drop severaly. |

Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson |
