| Message | The NMP feel that the Falcon encapulates what we think the Solentian Rupublic stand for, it is a strong and proud animal. However, from what the NMP can gather from past discussions and forums, the Falcon had certain connotations that stemmed from the ex-National Socialists party. If this is the case the NMP fully support any move to distance overselves and our country from these controversies and feel that 'Godzilla' would be the best substitute. |

| Message | Thanks. Were the Nazis not a factor, we would have no problem with falcon remaining the national animal. We do, however, feel that Solentia should change the current animal as well, to symbolise our fresh start - the National Socialist Government has fallen. This will be the last term we a Nazi President serves. Images of falcons and hunting are, for the SSP at least, tainted with themes of conflict and authority. The absurdity of the replacements seemed like a fitting conclusion to the National Socialist era. |

If this will be a problem, it might be easier to simply change it back to a falcon after the ASA is approved. Alternatively, we can work on a replacement.
