We of the AM RLP can agree with much of this bill; however if articles 3 and 4 remain we will have to vote against it. We can see no reason to exclude anyone from military service just due to their choice of sexual partners. That would make no more sense than not allowing vegetarians to serve due to their choice of food.

As to Article 4, we have seen too many times in the past where an organized paramilitary force was the only protection for ourselves and certain other opposition parties. We will never again allow ourselves to be disarmed, both for the sake of the nation as well as for the sake of our health and that of our families.
