MessageIs there a reason we need a larger government surplus?

This tax hike seems meaningless.

MessageThis tax hike gives us more spending money to spend on public infrastructure and will decrease social inequality caused by our current low tax rate.

MessageI'm not sure what good that does.

Public infrastructure increases social decay by institutionalizing people towards normalcy. If anything, we should reduce infrastructure so people are personally applying craftsmanship towards culture.

For example, driving on highways today is stupid. You don't know why the road was built, and you don't know anyone driving around you. If highways were personally crafted instead, then people would take their time everyday to personally appreciate who built the road and what it stands for.

Right now, driving on highways is just a chore.

MessageI'm also suspicious because you guys rammed through the budget. Not only did everyone not get to vote on it, but you passed it before fully resolving other bills.

(Now my party has an "abstain" vote on that. Not cool.)

MessageHighways are just one part of the infrastructure sector. There are rail networks, airports, ports, water channels, slow roads with no profit to commercial providers.
An efficient industry needs an excellent infrastructure network.

MessageI agree, but efficiency shouldn't be priority number one.

Efficiency only matters if it's creative. That takes art, and art requires private equity. Otherwise, people aren't expressing themselves. They're just expressing what's politically correct to the public because they're afraid.

Politically correct infrastructure is miserable. It takes frustration to maintain, and frustration to use. People don't want to live frustrating or miserable lives. They want to live happy lives. They want to celebrate something important.

MessageIndustrial efficiency has nothing to do with political correctness. We have nationalized essential parts of the transportation and power supply networks, so we need the money to fund them.
