Message | This isn't intended as a tax increase, although it does slightly increase taxes on the upper classes and slightly lower taxes on the lower classes, overall increasing revenue slightly. It was intended to simplify an insanely complicated tax code to make any further taxation bills, one way or another, easier to construct. I don't completely understand the Conservatives' question, but religious taxation wasn't really considered with this bill. |
