Bill: Social Assimilation Program
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conglomeratist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3373
Description[?]:
The goal here is to ensure that adulthood is not a self-destructive concept, but rather appreciates the time, energy, and attention required to appreciate mature ideas. 1) Merely being old does not mean someone has committed time to understanding right versus wrong since people can procrastinate. 2) Criminals need to prove they've reflected on right versus wrong while on parole. 3) Domesticated animals don't necessarily have personal sophistication, so it's important that they're treated respectfully. 4) Clones are in more dire circumstances than children. Not only do they not consent to be introduced into society, but they lack parents. Therefore, their origins must be monitored even more closely. 5) Illegal immigrants are illegal because they haven't proven an appreciation for our values. Deportation can be a hassle, however, especially when they've contributed to society, so it's viable to integrate them instead. 6) Maturity is not a matter of national service since children do not consent to be introduced into society. The idea of national service adds insult to injury as if children are obligated to be grateful for being taken hostage like Stockholm Syndrome. 7) Maturity recognizes the discretion of intimacy both as a distraction to others' sensitivity as well as a disparagement of exposing closely with someone else. Otherwise, people aren't taking care which defeats the purpose of being intimate, relegating people to the status of uncivilized barbarians. |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
