Message | "Secularism" has different meanings depending on what you're thinking. If you're thinking of complete freedom of religion with the government taking no stance on religion, then secularism is supported by these proposals above. If you're thinking of freedom of religion being limited to the private sphere (no religion in public) and government taking no stance on religion, then secularism is supported by the Whigs' argument. We believe identifying as a member of a particular religion and promoting that religion is distinct from bullying people into converting. |

Message | The public sphere should be secular, religion is for the home - not the public sphere. |
Date | 22:09:25, October 05, 2012 CET | From | The Dolgavan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Secular Dolgava Act |
Message | Religion is international - in the public not the private - you cannot diminish religion Whigs.. |
Date | 23:15:59, October 05, 2012 CET | From | Vigs Partija ('Whigs') | To | Debating the Secular Dolgava Act |
Message | It isn't diminishing it, merely stating that religion is a personal faith and should be treated as such; not allowed to interfere with others, your work or the public sphere in general - which is for everyone. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
