Bill: National Economic Protection Act (NEPA)
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3377
Description[?]:
Under this bill we are seeking to ensure our nations businesses their ability to maintain constant national competition between 'in house' business without fear of having foreign companies being able to invade our national markets. We as a Government are responsible with the protection of our people from foreign powers and that does not stop just at foreign military powers but foreign economic powers as well. We also believe that we must slash international funding of nations as it can cause problems with our own economy. By spending large amounts of money for nothing in return we are setting a bad example. Instead that money should be reinvested into our own nation as well as to go for paying off the nations debt. Once we can accomplish this we can then maybe start handing out aid again. However until that time a more "tied" agreement should be made to ensure that our nation gets something for the money that we are investing into foreign countries. Finally, we fell that we should take in refugees but only in the most sever of cases and while here they will be placed within gated area's where after the situation in their home country dies down they can return unopposed and those seeking to live here may do so but only after passing our Immigration Tests. They will not receive any additional funding. Thanks, Darius Calenhand NDP Elected Representative |
