Bill: The Eliminiation of Greed - Vanguard Morality Act 69
Details
Submitted by[?]: Red Vanguard Dominion
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3379
Description[?]:
FOOD MUST BE Safe. And as we modernize as a nation and people, we cannot allow the peasant to hawk their goods along the side streets. We've created and operate groceries and bazaars for good reason. It allows regulation of quality, safety, and price, and it employees many. GAMBLING CANNOT BE Unregulated and entirely legal. Are we a gangster island for wealthy Coburan casino owners? Are we to lose culture and our wages at such sinful dens of greed? At the same time, we are people, and recognize the evil of sweeping generalizations. Let us continue to allow citizens to bet on the weekly camel races, but let us not allow corporate casinos to be the core economic crux of any our cities. SALARIES ARE GIVEN By all, in our collective identification of wealth and cost value. We as a people decide whom should earn to what degree, to what we cherish and value of the workers of our society. Let us allow the workers and the employers to determine salaries, and judge if a baseball player should earn 500% more than a compassionate 3rd grade Historical Purity teacher. GLORY TO THE REPUBLIC! |
