Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | Restoring the civil liberties of Sekowo is the first priority of Mugenkai's government. In a few of these cases, Mugenkai's preferred policy is different from the policy prior to the dictatorship. In those cases, we restored for now the status quo ante and will propose further changes over the next few months. [OOC: It'd hardly be fair to change everything to the way I want it all at once, so this bill just undoes what Sakurakai did recently... with a couple exceptions.] In two cases, the law changed by Sakurakai wasw allowed to stand. First, Mugenkai will not re-nationalize the banks, so banking will remain private. Second, we will continue the moratorium on foreign aid for now, and propose a separate bill to provide for that aid. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
