Message | Mr. Speaker, The ILA has always been a party of the lowest possible tax rates and of allowing the Luthorian people to choose how they live their lives. People should not be forced into education. They must choose it for themselves. The first article while not ideal is something we could support. I Yield |

Message | Mr. Speaker, While we agree citizens should not be forced to do anything an un-educated populace is surely something that will condemn us from being the great power that we are. I think that is something that you and I can agree on. Luthori once stood atop the world as the leading educator and with the changes to policy it might have lost it's position. We believe we can agree on this. As for taxes, corporate taxes need to be raised. Corporations have found solstice in Luthori and exploit our low taxes. This increase still gives them incentive to conduct their business here as it is lower than most nations in Terra. This boosts our economy tremendously. James Vipond, Representative to His Majesty's Government from the Imperial Conservative Party, I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, While the ILA maybe willing to accept a small increase, say a 3-5% increase, there is no way which we can accept a 20% increase in the corporate tax. Some may call our tax rates too low or say that companies our exploiting us. I say its the other way around. We provide some of the lowest tax rates possible so that the citizens of Luthori may benefit by having one of the most robust economies on Terra. If the ICA is willing to reduce its tax proposal to within the recommended 3-5% increase the ILA will throw its support behind the other two proposals. I Yield Arthur Price Imperial-Seal Bearer, His Grace the Duke of Utagia. |

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others. |
