Bill: Declaration of The Brotherhood of Terror and Virtue as a terrorist organization
Details
Submitted by[?]: Urban Party of Rutania
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3401
Description[?]:
Given the organizations socialistic, communistic and anti-freedom views as well as the fact they have been known to bully other nations, we the Patriot Party ask that the government declare the Brotherhood of Terror and Virtue a terrorist organization. We also ask that any party caught joining the organization be placed on a government watch list with the possibility of being disbanded if sufficient evidence is shown them to be conspiring against the state. Finally, any person attempting to join or set up a branch on Rutanian soil shall be engaged in treason and they shall be subject to either death or life in prison without parole. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Though the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not agree with the overall ideology of said organization, we do not feel they are a threat to Rutania or her allies. Therefore, we ask that all parties disregard this frivolous bill. Lynne Sanders Minister of Foreign Affairs |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The RRP at this time will not support this measure until further evidence and information can be obtained that would lead us to believe that they are in fact a terrorist group and not simply a political group that the current UPR simply does not like. We can not use our resources or law making abilities to remove the civil liberties of our people for fear of the idea that the people may one day vote in a Communist or Socialist Government. Message | Mr. Speaker, Until we know more about what constitutes a threat from this group (although the name is concerning), we will be voting this bill down. Otto van Helsing President, Rutanian Federal Party |
