| Message | Mr. Speaker, As Hulstria has fallen to Left-wing parties and communists our once strong alliance has been in a massive state of decline. Further more the Hulstrian colonies on Dovani pose a serious threat to Luthori's colonies. Therefore we seek input from the rest of the Diets members and also the input of our colonies Viceroys as to the current situation on the Continent. The Emperor has also asked us to look over our current treaty with Hulstria and decide whether or not to continue with it or to remove ourselves from it. We should also decide on how Luthori should re-act to the Dovani colonies of Hulstria declaring independence. Should we support their independence, remain out of their affairs, Push for Hulstria to reassert control or possibly seek another direction. I Yield. | Message | Members of the Imperial Diet, As Secretary of State for the Colonies I wish to give a report on the Colonies of the Empire. All Colonies are reporting full compliance with His Majesty's laws and government. None have given any sense of independence movement or wish for independence, the Emperor has been benevolent to his subjects especially in Dovani. Under the new Imperial Colonies Reformation Act which the Department of the Colonies is designing, we will be permitting local colonial legislatures to enact laws and pass budgets to permit a degree of autonomy which shall suffice. The Imperial Viceroy shall have final say in the matter but it gives the colonies a sense of freedom. While I understand the theories which have been proposed to me regarding said actions. Firstly, we could continue to support the remnants of our Rothringen-Traugott cousins there, as new party has arisen within Hulstria support the remnants of the royal family there... Secondly, however, we have a twofold claim to the Throne of Hulstria ourselves. One, according to the rules of agnatic primogeniture, as the direct unbroken male descendant of the Emperor Heinrich von Rothingen-Traugott, Emperor of Hulstria & the Holy Luthori Empire... and as if that were not enough: Our current Empress Noelle was born an Archduchess of Hulstria, daughter, sister, and aunt, to three seperate Hulstrian Emperors, and our Crown Prince, her son, would inherit her claim in the line of succession....
