Message | Mr Speaker, We are more inclined to accept this proposal for the principle of Article I however we must ask for the removal of Article II as it hinders progression towards a cleaner eco friendly power system. Richard Wilcox RRP Chairman |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We believe that subsidies are not an efficient way to progress renewable energy generation. The free market will guide the industry towards renewable energy as non-renewable energy sources are depleted. So, we see no reason for the federal government to spend money on the inevitable. However, if local governments believe they should spend their own money on renewable energy, they should be able to do so. Article II will remain, for now. Message | Mr. Speaker, The adoption rate of renewable energy sources is progressing at an acceptable rate, however Rutania does need to start shifting away from the current coal-dominated power stations. The country is at present unable to make an immediate jump from coal to renewable energy, however I suggest that more funding be put toward atomic power. At present only four percent of the country's total electricity output comes from atomic power - in order to begin the transition from third-millennium power to fourth-millennium power, Rutania must adopt atomic power to at least twenty percent output.
