Description[?]:
As I have outlined in this post, http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=256241 , the economic model of this game does not support fiscal responsibility. I noticed that with the original KLP budget, the GDP of Selucia was around 800 bn SEN. After the change from the regressive tax with 222 bn SEN revenue to the progressive tax of 41 bn SEN revenue, the GDP of Selucia increased to 900 bn SEN. However, when the 15% corp tax, brining in 5 tn SEN revenue was added, the GDP plunged to 750 bn SEN. As such, I would like to propose eliminating the corp tax to ensure that the GDP returns to ~900 bn SEN. However, if you think that GDP value is less important than fiscal responsibility, which is completely unrewarded by the game, then by all means vote no. |
